Does this mean I get to spam a wiki? NO, I already tried to test their allowments. You can’t spam the 2 dollar wiki, you can tell everyone about your products, services or your business. You must write a paragraph or at least a nice page about your business. If you have even just “ok” writing skills you can gain alot of free traffic from the 2-dollar-wiki.com. After posting a small paragraph about the finance & money blog, and my make money blog which doesn’t get edited often has received more traffic in one week, then I have received all year.

All this from one wiki post? YES

I am being honest, and to prove it, just try it yourself, what is the worst that could happen? Create a page on the 2-dollar-wiki, any page, just search for hot keywords, make sure the page has not been created, or at least hasn’t been doused with ads and business information and include your peice of the world on a wiki.

I should scam it and claim it for myself, but I though my visitors could make more use of the wiki page.

WOW,new concepts are coming out all the time but this one takes the cake. An entrepreneur from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada has seriously thought this one through.

When I first started blogging years ago, on a very basic talk about anything blog, visitors were impossible until I found http://www.googletrend.info which informs you of the hot search trends from google, yahoo, msn, ask, and a few others.

Massive site which has more than 1,000,000 pages of content, by adding one trend which was news at the time I hit traffic above 1000 visitors in only 1 day. The day before the hot trend I was receiving 10-30 unique visitors, then, after that hot topic, I had more money in my pocket in one week than 90 days of blogging previous to this hot trend. In a very simple definition of earnings per click… It is the amount you are earning per click on your advertisements. Your epc is calculated by dividing the total earnings by the number of clicks. Very simple ( $819.50 / 286 clicks = $2.86 * 100 = $286.50 ). Now, Lets remove your cpc and get a much more relevant result.

Cost = (CPC ($0.15) * Clicks(286))
EPC = (EPC - COST)

PROPER EPC = ($271.53)

Definitions of earnings per click on the Web:

* How much profit is made from each click from a paid ad.

Making money online involves many techniques and experience, however, first thing is first (YOUR BUSINESS COLORS).

I am a reader of hundreds of online blogs, the ones i read sure don’t have a black background! They don’t have colorful backgrounds, they don’t make my head move back quickly to avoid the strain of your business’s colors. If I am going to read your blog, I have to be ABLE to read it!

So, which colors should I use for my blog?

Of course, you should make your blog your own, with your own personality, and your own design, however, you should consider who you want to read your blog.

22-30 : We are working every day, my eyes already hurt
30-40 : I am still working every day, but I am a little use to it now!

A recent study I had conducted showed that that blog readers are loyal, trusting and eager for entertainment. Most readers read the same blogs regularly. According to this study two thirds of study respondents read more than three blogs per day. A similar number indicated that they read for entertainment. Over half of them judged the quality of the information on blogs by the quality of the writing. Interestingly, one blog which had a beautiful design had some really bright colors, and the others more plain and laid back. The blog with really bright colors, well turned out with only 50 readers where the other 20 blogs had more than 500 readers each by the end of the study. Would you like to know the winner? I used each color from google, laid my blog as close to possible to google’s look… that blog had 3 times as many readers as 2nd place, content was not as intense as 2nd place and links to other blogs didn’t even exist. No wonder google runs a replica of the earth, they will soon own us! Google is of course the internet axis of evil, I wonder if placing this on my blog will lower my traffic, I have taken a screenshot and some quick tests before posting, I will update my results! I recently tried this and failed, but I am sure google has an algorithm in place to find the people talking bad about them!

Ok back to business!

So how did the test compare? 67.3% of the respondents follow links to learn about new blogs, what is more, blog readers rely upon recommendations on blogs (22.9%) more highly than simply finding a blog via a search engine (19.9%).

As the study proved the blog shoud be:
a)well-written
b)focused on specific topic
c)colors definetly matter

The results of the first cycle of my experiment, show a clear distinction in subjective importance between 12 tested colors. Especially, it was possible to divide colors in two big groups. The colors that had much more hits were red, yellow, green and pink. Those of lower saliency seemed to be light blue, maroon, violet and dark
green. The results of my second test confirmed the results
of the first cycle, as groups of colors having similar saliency
were obtained. Analyzing these results, it is possible to
conclude that subjects retained that light blue, violet, dark
green and maroon have similar importance although we can
still arrange them in order of importance. The same can be
concluded for the group red, yellow, green and blue. It is
very interesting to underline that in all 12 combinations of
colors, the order of importance was always the same when
compared to the first cycle. This is an indication that the
ordering of color latency as found in the first cycle is rather
robust and does not change with alternative tests as those in
the second cycle of my experiment. You may not understand this mumbo jumbo, so let me break it down in english…

This test was conducted on one web site and each box was displayed the exact same amount of times, to ensure an un-biast point of view, this test was conducted 5 times, below are not the averages, but, extremely similar results
